"Sick"

Waiting for round two of a Heads-Up tourney right now, my first round having lasted 3 hands. But how the first ended was kind of amusing:

phantommut collected 3000 from pot

*** SUMMARY ***

Total pot 3000 | Rake 0

Board [9c Ks 3d 6s 5c]

Seat 1: phantommut (button) (small blind) showed [Kh 3h] and won (3000) with two pair, Kings and Threes

Seat 2: Murdoch2007 (big blind) showed [Td Kd] and lost with a pair of Kings

Gotta love Murdoch2007's little "sick" editorializing.

Now true, I had two pair, top and bottom, so in theory I could have been beat. Murdoch could have caught a set (Nines would have been most likely, considering) or he could have the better two pair. What I put him on was Ace King or maybe aces, considering his pre-flop raise of my button limp and and his check-raise after the flop.

But King Ten? (Okay, it was sooooooted, but it's not like he picked up a flush draw with the flop.)

Maybe my re-raising was donkish, (I don't have a lot of experience in heads-up tourneys) but it seems to me two pair is a damn fine flop in those situations. And of course, the pro could have slowed it down by just calling at any point too.

But Murdoch2007 is entitled to his opinion of course.
