Equity

So, SpartanBrizz asked me to be a witness to his finally achieving fair equity in a 45 player Sit-N-Go:

Here's how the final hand played out:

PokerStars Game #11158774834: Tournament #56603670, $1.00+$0.10 Hold'em No Limit - Level XIII (1000/2000) - 2007/07/27 - 05:22:22 (ET)
Table '56603670 3' 9-max Seat #7 is the button

SpartanBrizz said, "gg"
SpartanBrizz collected 54874 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 54874 | Rake 0
Board [Jc Th 6h 6s Qd]
Seat 7: SpartanBrizz (button) (small blind) showed [Kd As] and won (54874) with a straight, Ten to Ace
Seat 9: Roquefeller (big blind) showed [Ac 3d] and lost with a pair of Sixes

And just to complete the favor, on the hand that got him to heads-up, he was holding something like KK to his opponent's AJ, the flop came something like xAJ, giving the opponenet Aces and Jacks, the turn was another Jack, giving the opponent Jacks full of Aces for a commanding lead, and the river was a true suckout-card King, giving Spartan Kings full of Aces to beat his opponents Jacks full of Aces.

Now that I've done my duty by history, let me state that I plan to be blogging more about my own game soon enough. I think I've spotted some holes I want to hash-out on-line, and I want to get back into the habit of writing even though the twins are still kicking my ass time-wise.
